Overview
Based on a point in history where Egypt was divided, and ruled by various Nomarchs. The aim of the game is to use what resource you have to develop your province and stake your claim as becoming the next pharaoh.

  White Goblin Games start work on Saqqara

It's official - White Goblin have now starting working towards the release of Saqqara. So far we have decided to market the game for 3-5 players (although it can be played with 2, it works better with at least 3). They have chosen Matthias Catrein (Dominion, Phoenicia) to illustrate the game. More details to come soon.

This is the prototype I sent to White Goblin Games in Netherlands. They said not to focus on creating graphics for the board. So I made a simple black and white board.

This was when I started getting serious about prototyping. I went all out with this one. I glued the board to a thick card and even made individual player boards in the same way. After a couple plays, I wanted to change a few things. This is why I never spend much on the first few prototype designs anymore.
